Province of Drenthe
Since 1854 the Drents Museum has managed, preserved and exhibited the collection of the Province of Drenthe. The Province also owns our buildings. The collection and the museum’s policy form the starting point of the museum’s exhibition programme, showing the world a view of Drenthe and Drenthe a view of the world. To achieve this and other agreed commitments, the museum receives a subsidy from the province. Please consult the annual reports to find out what we do with this subsidy.
