Neo Rauch

From 9 October 2022, the spotlight will fall on the work of the world-famous German artist Neo Rauch (1960). In this major retrospective, the focus is entirely on Rauch's work on paper.

Neo Rauch (1960) is one of the leading contemporary artists. His colourful paintings and drawings feel like a dream world that gradually causes concern. In his work Rauch uniquely combines an eventful personal and political history. He studied at the well-known Hochschule für Grafik und Buchkunst in Leipzig. This exhibition focuses entirely on his work on paper. His work can be found in the collections of the Metropolitan Museum in New York, the Guggenheim Museum in New York and the Goetz Collection in Munich, among others.
