Giftshop

For the exhibition, the museum has selected exclusive products that are now offered on the Dutch Museum Gift Shop (DMGS). You can buy a beautifully woven woollen scarf from the Dutch brand Silkroute, inspired by the work of Kahlo. Or find your ideal shopping bag with Frida's Self Portrait with Hummingbird.

If you like Drenthe more than Frida Kahlo, the museum also offers products that are more related to local history and culture. Discover the history of the Girl of Yde, for example, or discover artists who painted on location in Drenthe from the 18th and 19th century up to and including the 20th century.

With the arrival of the Drents Museum, DMGS is expanding further. Since the website went live in May 2020, it has offered museums the opportunity to generate additional income. The Scheepvaartmuseum, the Rijksmuseum, Eye Filmmuseum, Kunsthal Rotterdam, the Jewish Cultural Quarter  the Maritime Museum Rotterdam and Het Tropenmuseum now sell items such as catalogues, T-shirts and jewellery online at www.dutchmuseumgiftshop.nl. In addition to Dutch visitors, museum enthusiasts from Hong Kong to New York can also shop at the Dutch Museum Gift Shop.
