A Historic Meeting

During our tour of the Largest Doll’s House in Holland you’ll get to meet one of the inhabitants of the ‘Ontvangershuis’ in person: Collector General Johannes van Lier, his daughter Barbara or his son Helperius. Or maybe you’d rather meet one of their servants, such as housekeeper Tallegien Jans, cook Jantien Boerema or coachman Roelof Harms. You’ll soon see that 250 years ago, the world looked quite different from our own world today. People travelled by coach, communicated by letter and cooked on open fires. It’s always ladies first, except on stairs...

Intended audience: adults
When: on request
Duration: 75 minutes
Admission: € 8,00 per person (excluding museum admission), with a minimum of 10 group visitors
