European Exhibiton Network

The Drents Museum is a member of the European Exhibition Network (EEN), in which museums of roughly the same size from countries such as Germany, Italy, Austria, Spain, England and Sweden collaborate. The aim of this organization is to regularly inform its members about exhibition projects and collections, with a view to exchanges and collaborations. A good example is the loan of the Roman bronze arm from Museo Arqueologico de Alicante and our collaboration with the Lichtensteinisches Landesmuseum in Vaduz, which resulted in the Precious Eggs from the Czar’s Empire - Faith, Hope and Love exhibition. More recently, the Drents Museum has collaborated with the Historisches Museum der Pfalz Speyer for the Maya - Rulers of the Rainforest exhibition.
