A magical journey of discovery through fifteen rooms of the museum. View all the masterpieces from our own collection, such as Yde's girl, Pesse's canoe and Van Gogh's paintings.

Labyrinthia, our completely new collection presentation, will open in 2024. Listen to iconic stories, go on a mammoth hunt, look through the eyes of Vincent van Gogh or paddle a canoe through the old peat landscape. In Labyrinthia, archaeology, art and history come together and all your senses are stimulated.

A magical journey through the Drents Museum collection

Wander through our historic building complex and experience the museum collection in a spectacular way. Each room has a completely unique experience, as if you are really in the middle of the story.

In Labyrinthia you can look with your hands and use all your senses. Smell the paint and feel the shards. Pose with the jewelry of the Princess of Zweeloo or dance at a farmer's wedding. Due to its interactive nature, the exhibition is also a fun day out for families with children.
