Opening hours

The Drents Museum is open on Tuesday to Sunday from 11.00 - 17.00. 

On Bank Holidays and during school holidays the museum is also open on Mondays. This means we are open on the following dates: 18 and 25 February, 29 April, 8, 15, 22, and 29 July, 5, 12, 19 and 26 August, 14 and 21 October, 23 and 30 December 2019.

We are closed on 1 January, 27 April and 25 December.

The museum garden is open daily from 11.00  - 17.00 admission free. From November 1st - March 1st the garden is open until 16.00.


Tickets are for sale at the box office in the museum. You can buy your tickets at the museum. The museum offers special arrangements for school visits. Admission to the museum is free of charge for companions of disabled visitors.

For Sprezzatura there is a surcharge of € 5.00 for paying visitors. At the box office, every visitor who pays a surcharge receives a voucher. Upon presenting this voucher you will receive a € 2.00 discount on a cup of coffee/tea in Grandcafé Krul or on purchases in the museum shop (with a minimum of € 10.00).
