Opening hours

The Drents Museum is open:

• Tuesday to Sunday from 10am to 5pm
• Mondays during Dutch school holidays and public holidays

The museum is open extra on the following days:

• Mondays during the summer holidays (in 2024: July 6 to September 1)
• Mondays during the autumn holidays (in 2024: October 19 to November 3)
• Mondays during the Christmas holidays (December 21, 2024 to January 5, 2025)

The museum is extra closed on the following days:

• New Year's Day, January 1
• King's Day, April 27
• Christmas Day, December 25

You can visit the Museum Garden for free every day from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. In the period from November 1 to March 1, the garden is open until 4 p.m.
